SendMyNote

Delete your SendMyNote account or data

This page explains how users of the SendMyNote app (Android, iOS and web), developed by SendMyNote, can delete their account or only some of their data.

1. Delete your account in the app

  1. Open SendMyNote (or sendmynote.com) and sign in.
  2. Open Account.
  3. Tap Delete my account.
  4. Confirm the deletion.

Tip: before deleting, use Account → Download my data to keep a copy.

2. Ask us to delete your account

If you can no longer sign in, email support@sendmynote.com from the email address of your account and ask for your account to be deleted. We reply within 30 days.

3. What is deleted

When your account is deleted, we permanently erase right away:

  • Voice recordings, transcripts and summaries
  • Workflows and approved recipient addresses
  • Mobile notification tokens
  • App Store and Google Play subscription records
  • Your profile and sign-in details

4. What is kept, and for how long

  • A one-way, irreversible code made from your email address (never the readable email), with your original sign-up date and the free minutes already used. It is kept for up to 60 days to prevent abuse of the free plan, then permanently deleted.
  • Billing records, for as long as tax and accounting law requires. Stripe/Link, Apple or Google may also keep their own records under their own policies.

5. Delete some of your data and keep your account

  • Single notes (with their recording, transcript and summary): open the note and tap delete. It moves to Trash and is permanently erased after 30 days. You can erase it sooner from Account → Trash.
  • Workflows and the recipient addresses saved in them: delete them on the Workflows page.
  • Anything else, such as all notes at once or approved recipients: email support@sendmynote.com from your account's email address. We reply within 30 days.

Minutes already used this month still count after a note is deleted.

6. Good to know

  • Removing the app from your phone does not delete your account.
  • Pro plans bought through Google Play or the App Store must also be cancelled in that store, or they will keep renewing.
