Terms of Service
Last updated: July 26, 2026
1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using SendMyNote you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. The service
SendMyNote lets signed-in users record voice notes, generate transcripts and summaries with AI, and email them to recipients they choose. Free and paid plans are available; plan limits (such as monthly recording minutes) are displayed in the app.
3. Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for the content you record and send, including obtaining any consent required to record other people or share their information.
- You will not use the service for anything unlawful, harassing, defamatory, infringing, harmful, or that violates the rights of others.
- You will not attempt to bypass usage limits, security controls, or rate-limits, or reverse-engineer the service.
- You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
- You will not add recipient email addresses that you are not authorized to send to.
4. Subscriptions and billing
- Paid plans (Pro monthly and Pro yearly) are billed in advance through Stripe.
- Unless required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable.
- You may cancel at any time from the billing portal; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
- We may change prices with reasonable prior notice; new prices apply to the next renewal.
5. AI-generated content
Transcripts and summaries are produced by third-party AI models and may contain errors, omissions, or mistranslations. Review output before relying on it for important decisions. You are responsible for how you use AI-generated content.
6. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from Account → Delete my account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law, or where continued service would expose us to material risk.
7. Warranty disclaimer
The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, or non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
